Growing presence on the Road to Indy
In April 2021, Speedway Digest reported that Marotti Autosport expanded its partnership with Legacy Autosport for the USF2000 opener at Barber Motorsports Park. The collaboration built on the foundation the two teams established in 2020.
Sikes and Castro lead the lineup
The program brought back Simon Sikes, the 2020 FRP F1600 champion and Team USA Scholarship recipient, alongside Andre Castro, a driver with prior USF2000 experience and success in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series. Both drivers expressed excitement about returning to Barber, ready to build momentum in the new season.
Partners and legacy
For the Barber round, Marotti Autosport welcomed America’s Pharmacy Source back as a partner and added Expense Reduction Analysts. Legacy Autosport, operated by the Meyer family, carries a direct connection to Indy 500 history through Louis Meyer, the first three-time winner of the race.
“All the pieces for a great team and terrific season are coming together,” said Will Marotti. “We anticipate a major sponsorship announcement soon.”
